Like on iOS, Apple Music on Android add support for video clips

  • Apple Music is now at the same level on iOS and Android. Apple is proposing tonight an update of its application on the operating system of Google to add video clips. Users on iOS can enjoy it since last week, like those Windows or macOS using iTunes.

  • With video clips, Apple hopes to add value to its service to attract more and more people. It is true that most music streaming services are similar today by offering a catalog of tens of millions of songs, no advertising and the ability to download content locally (if you take a paid subscription). Here, Apple offers video clips and even playlists with clips to provide an enriched experience, without increasing the price of the subscription.
  • Apple Music is available for free on the Play Store for users with an Android terminal. It is necessary to have at least Android 4.3 to enjoy the service. The application lacks optimizations based on user feedback with pages that sometimes take a long time to load. But Apple is improving on this point, the latest updates proposed in recent weeks correct several bugs.
